Hello! My r_e_c_u_r isn’t working and I don’t know why.
I’m on a raspberry pi 3b and I’ve etched the 2.0 image onto the sd card. I get the loading screen but then after it boots the screen goes black. On the hdmi out there is a ranbow gradient screen.
Is this a hardware issue? I ordered a rasp pi screen for the display but I may have to order another.
Please let me know how to troubleshoot this issue. Thank you so much for your time!
the rainbow gradient screen is a normal part of what you see when a raspberry pi boots up. does it get stuck on that screen? how long did you wait to see if it would boot?
It shows the splash screen, the hdmi out stays on the rainbow screen and then the screen hooked up to the pi goes black. It stays like that permanently. The pi responds to ctrl alt del and reboots but its the same thing over and over just the splash screen loading and then black.
hmm, that’s weird. does the same pi boot successfully with a different SD card and/or image?
I just flashed the same drive with rasp pi desktop and it’s working just fine. Maybe it’s the screen?
