Hi, so I’ve found both a Tv One C2-2350 and a Blackmagic intensity shuttle more or less for about 100€ (basically 100$) each. Which might be the best?
I’ve seen that the Tv One also works as a downscaler (not at the same time tho), but I’ve seen a lot of times ppl mentioning the Blackmagic.
I’m not even sure that they both do the same jobs actually.
Regardless of which I’ll buy, currently I will use it for “studio” projects, but I might do some live stuff in the future. In case, the capture card would be an Elgato Cam Link 4k.
the tv one is an up-down cross converter, the blackmagic intensity shuttle is a capture card, there isn’t really any particular comparison that makes sense here. i’d recommend searching this forum for info on intensity shuttles as lots of folks have opinions on them and they also simply might not work with your hardware at all. it would theoretically be possible to use the intensity shuttle and a computer together to upscale in real time, but that would probably be a pain in the butt and not super reliable in general.
100 for an up down cross like the the one you mentioned is a pretty good deal.
