Any use to be found in black and white crts?

  1. definitely fun for doing camera feedback, lots of stuff can be easier to manage in bw that doesnt work so well in color
2.if inputs are the screw on vhf style u can fuck around with uhf video signals by physically messing around with how tight/loose the connections are

Convert it to an oscilloscope if you’re confident/brave/foolish enough to mess around with the kind of voltages in a CRT.

If you decide to make an oscilloscope, I tried a few cheap chip amp boards for the one I’m working on and this one is giving me really good results:

The other (cheaper) boards I tried didn’t really produce smooth lines and clipped easily, but this one looks great.

I’m using a tiny Radio Shack travel TV (5" or 6" diagonal), though. No idea how well it would drive a bigger tube.
