Hey folks,
I’ve enjoyed dipping in and out of this forum and like to lurk, but last year I did my first finished product music video and thought it would be cool to post it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNmWOuMW1vQ here it is! i’m sure we’re all acquainted in the war with bitrate so slap it in 4k for maximum enjoyment. a video for seminal UK psych noisers Bloody Head, the song/video revolve around themes in sufi islam, a mystic religion that incorporates dance into worship, as a means to separate from the body and get closer to the divine. I’m sure many of you can relate…
I jammed it in realtime with a bent unit I built myself, into a resolume rig I have been picking away at for a good while now. The song is a slow burner and so is the video, but in the last couple minutes it evolves to some serious intensity. I’m really happy with the resulting fractal kaleidoscope death cannon I dialled in for it, and would like any kaleidoscope hating VJs to have a look..
I’m slowly beginning to try and post my work more instead of making things and leaving them forever archived so if you’d like to follow my pursuits hit me up on IG at both @6pup and @junkwrldunderground where I am hoping to get more active.
I’ve added a few screenshots too, the latter end of the video is just chock full of excellent frames that could all be their own pieces of art.. zoom right in and enjoy the crispyness!
