(FWIW we definitely left our Pornasonic AVE-5 on for more than 8 hours, in multiple occasions. It didn’t catch fire yet. YMMV)

what a gem! nice to have some same-era video demos for these vintage machines that go beyond the stuff featured in the manuals, learned a thing or two I didn’t already know. Maaaaaaaan though, editing in the VHS-era looked like such a pain!! lmao. Crazy that’s how things were done back then, truly a lost art.
