Hi all this week there will be a series of cool events in Austin, TX: an installation and a live AV night at dadaLab.
the laser installation will be at the Museum of Human Achievement in Austin, TX. A collaboration between steel guitar Bob Hoffnar, Max Lorenzen and me. We will allow participants to explore the acoustic space via binaural microphones while displaying their signal through laser. It’s on the 24 and 25 between 6pm and 8pm, at the Museum of Human Achievement, 3600 Lyons Rd Suite B, Austin, TX.
Also there will be a live AV gig at dadaLab:
“dadageek is honored to present an evening of experimental a/v featuring a special performance of BLACKLIGHT by internationally recognized Italian laser artist Alberto Novello (aka JesterN). In BLACKLIGHT, Novello uses a custom laser system to paint evolving worlds on a custom-made photosensitive canvas.
PLUS: Experimental a/v performances on the dadaLab immersive projection system by blend.mode and visualaudio.”
