GWDSK on 2012 MacBook Pro / GT 650M 512MB VRAM — usable?

About to grab GWDSK but want to sanity-check my hardware first. I’m on a mid-2012 15" MacBook Pro, 2.3 GHz quad i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GT 650M with only 512MB VRAM, running macOS Catalina 10.15.7.

My main worry is the dual 4-second delay lines against 512MB VRAM. For anyone running GWDSK on similar vintage hardware:

  1. Does it run at a usable framerate, and at what internal processing resolution?

  2. Is the 512MB VRAM a hard wall for the dual delay buffers, or does dialing the internal res down keep it stable?

  3. Any Catalina-specific gotchas?

For reference I’m currently running Waaave Pool DSK fine (holds ~33fps) and have a K2 mapped via MidiPipe. Mostly want GWDSK for the macro MIDI mapping + dual delay. Thanks!
