How do you feed a virtual camera into Video Waaves?

Hello,
I’ve gotten video waaves to function with my external USB camera, however this doesn’t work with OBS virtual camera or similar softwares. It typically gets an error which say says ‘buffer size does not match’, but I know this is purely sizing. I believe it’s something to do with the permissions that the program has to read and write external DLLs that are essential for these virtual cameras to function. Anyone had any luck with this or attempted this already?

Update:
To clarify, I can stream VLC through NDI! However, I would like to stream the desktop, which is also not functional through NDI Or any app, makes me think it’s some sort of security issue.

I dunno if its similar issue but i found that with openframeworks the obs virtual cam only works if you set your buffer the exact size of the obs resolution (whereas other external video like webcams will autoset the corect resolutions…)

And also maybe you could try sharing screen from obs using ndi plugin
