I wonder if anyone else saw the Jean Michel Jarre livestream from Virtual Notre-Dame over New Year, and if so what you thought of it.

I watched on YouTube rather than VR, but I was rather underwhelmed visually. The simulated light projections (e.g. on the exterior) would have looked better as actual projections and the volumetic elements didn’t seem to anything very special.

I thought it was an interesting attempt to do something different, but, for, me didn’t really work out. Perhaps it was better in a full VR view.

im a fan a jmj in general but get the feeling that their light stuff is probably far more affecting in a live setting?

oh but they did a vr thing? perhaps it needs to be a full feild of vision thingy?
