Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has tried running recurboy on an orange pi or banana pi? I’m having a lot of trouble finding Rasberry pi 2w and don’t want to be caught without backups.
it wont be possible to just use the same image on one of these alternative sbc.
a port of the codebase may be possible, but from my wee looks into it, not so easy, espically around the cvbs output (if you only care about hdmi out it could be easier)
there seems to be a worldwide shortage of the rpi_zero2s at the moment but iv been told this should ease up around beginning of next yr, although as with any computing/ram supply chains its hard to say..
i do have the idea of a updated recurboy project that hopfully will end up being a bit more portable.. will be working on this some more next yr

Totally understandable! The Recurboy has become a centerpiece in my set up so I’m hoping the supply picks up. I’d hate to have to retire them.
