tldr: you can jumper a resistor and remove a diode to minimize the hue shift
its true - we attempted to solve this chroma shifting issue with a previous sync_ope revision a few yrs ago (more info on it [here]( Release minor fix to improve colour shift / level difference between send and return · cyberboy666/sync_ope · GitHub )
and the results with the capture card i was using was quite good:
however it has since been reported by some people that they are still getting quite large offsets with the updated circuit (like i assume @stacysworld is using)
i started working on a quite revised version of this circuit that improves it in other ways too (replaces hard to find ad8072 opamp, has micro for blanking generation, fixes issue with +/-5v rail generation needing >1a to start up.. etc) but will be a lil bit before this is finished since i want to finish some other ideas first..
