For those of you who use a Syphon flow between apps (such as Signal Culture apps), one issue is always how to grab content from random non-syphon enabled apps. Syphon has always been the best tool for this (grabs selected app window content), but over the last 6 months or so, it stopped functioning with MacOS 13 & 14. Now the good folks at Sigmasix have gotten around to providing an update (1.4.7 beta) which runs once again. Needs ‘Privacy & Security’ access enabled to read your screen for stream capture.

This is nice but why on earth does a free software have an expiration date???
The current version is set to “expire” next year, none of the previous versions that were supported on legacy macos work anymore on the target OS because of this “expiration”. The current version works on Mojave but that certainly wont last 
Its unfortunate because this is the only functional Syphon injection/Frame grab type of software for Mojave 10.14; as SyphonInject doesnt work if SIP is enabled
