So this probably doesn’t fit here – not h/w and not realtime - but I thought I’d share anyway, in case anyone has interest.
I got interested in using G’MIC filters/fx on video and couldn’t quite find what I was looking for so I cobbled together this bash script to apply any number of filters, in series, to a video input.
I have since learned that gmic has an “apply_video” command which can be used for video but haven’t been able to figure out how to use it… best guess is that it requires OpenCV to be linked in and the ubuntu apt install doesn’t include that…?
Anyway, sharing is caring. Thread with examples over here: Lime Bar: "Useful preview of all G'Mic filters on selection …" - Mastodon
