We got a Canon XM2 from a friend and Uniporn is already in love with it!
It may almost qualify technically as vintage as it’s ~20 years old, but it’s a much newer generation compared to what’s been mentioned above, and its output looks plainly digital. MiniDV; S-video + composite video outputs (working without tapes); ~440k pixel CCD; seemingly feedback-friendly thanks to a few manual controls, but we’re still investigating
