I’m having trouble setting up my mx70. I read that regular yellow video cables should work in the Y YPBPR slot but I get nothing. S-video isn’t working either. Any advice is appreciated!
tried the video/audio set-up? p.54 in the manual. this is where you select what each INPUTS are CV/YC/Y Pb Pr/(or sdi). There are several outputs to choose from, two “main” and a preview - no luck on any of them?

not only that, but you can re route any of inputs 1-8 into any of the other internal channels which can sometimes be a bit of a headache!
